“bringing the Drive in back to Fort Worth”
Coyote Drive-In was founded in 2011 by four guys who were longing for a great way to leave the rat race and constant connectivity behind. They envisioned a simple place to escape the chaos and hang out with friends and family. Enjoy a cold one together. Admire the stars shining bright up above. It was in their quest for a laid back oasis that the concept for Coyote Drive-In was born. Founders The company’s founders have been in the hospitality business for decades. One partner, Brady Wood, has been creating entertainment concepts since he was in college (Green Room, Trees, Gypsy Tea Room, Jeroboam among others). Another partner, Glenn Solomon, grew up in the theater business and his family owned over 50 drive-ins and many “hard top theaters (Gulf States Theaters). The Coyote Drive-In is collaboration between Coyote Theatres, the Tarrant Regional Water District (Landlord), Trinity River Vision Authority (master planner of the neighborhood), the City of Fort Worth (who has been incredible to work with) and many other stakeholders. What seemed like an easy thing to “throw together took two years of planning, designing, construction and craft beer sampling (not all of the planning was tough to take). The location is spectacular with stunning views of downtown Fort Worth…along the Trinity River near the Panther Island Pavilion where concerts and tubing are regularly happening.
