Lefty's Old Time Music Hall

Conveniently relocated from the deep south of 19th century America to Caxton St. Set in the majestic old Baroona Labor Hall, Lefty’s Old Time Music Hall has become a Brisbane institution in 4 short years. The beautiful heritage listed building has previously housed tailors, communists, punk rock kids & strippers.

Stepping into Lefty’s, you’re immediately transported to an Old Western whiskey bar. Dark leather, dark timber, scarlet velvet drapes, mounted animals, chandeliers, giant mirrors, candle-lit booths, spirits mixed with freshly juiced apple and never-ending free popcorn.

Lefty’s is where you have the chance to embrace the atmosphere and let the good times roll!

The main bar offers a wide selection of whiskey, (It’s all about the Whiskey) American and Australian beers and more, some nice wines and sparkling (if thats more your do), and of course great banter from all our bartenders.

Heading upstairs to our somewhat secret Mermaid lounge, which gives you the sense you are about to embark upon a sea voyage. Let this hideaway bar send you on your travels while you explore a selection of 70 odd rums!
