“Australia’s leading environmental Wildlife experience”

The Advanced Eco-accredited Wildlife Habitat is a wildlife immersion exhibit - an open and interactive environment for guests and animals to mingle in a spacious natural setting. Visitors wander along elevated boardwalks, observing up close a huge range of flora and fauna as birds fly and animals roam freely. Experience the four different environments where visitors and animals mix freely, the Savannah, Wetlands, Rainforest and Grasslands environments. Hand-feed kangaroos and wallabies, observe cassowaries and Lumholtz's Tree Kangaroos, and cuddle a Koala! Experience the symphony of sounds and colours of wildlife and tantalise your taste buds at Queensland's best tropical buffet, as you enjoy Breakfast with the Birds (daily 8-10.30am) or Lunch with the Lorikeets (daily from 12-2pm). Located at the entrance to Port Douglas, local shuttle buses operate regularly from Port Douglas to our door. If travelling from Cairns, Wildlife Habitat is located 50 minutes north along the scenic Captain Cook Highway.
