Celtic cross, Rookwood Rookwood Cemetery (officially named Rookwood Necropolis) is the largest necropolis in the Southern Hemisphere , located in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Rookwood is a suburb, close to Lidcombe railway station about 17 kilometres west of the Sydney central business district.

The Rookwood is currently hosting their annual 2014 art exhibit "Hidden." Until October guests are invited to explore the grounds to search for all of the sculptures that have been added throughout the gravestones. The cost of the event is free!
