“Fishing and surfing are two popular pastimes, although persons enterering the water must be aware that this is an unpatrolled beach and conditions can be dangerous.”

Friendly Beaches on the East Coast is an exposed beach break that only works once in a while. Summer in particular tends to be flat. Offshore winds are from the west with some shelter here from north winds. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the ideal swell direction is from the east. The beach break provides left and right handers. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Sometimes crowded. Beware of Heavy rips and isolation.
