Japs, Warrnambool

Japs in Far West Coast is an exposed beach break that has fairly consistent surf and can work at any time of the year. Offshore winds are from the north. Tends to receive distant groundswells and the ideal swell angle is from the south. The beach break offers both left and right hand waves. Best around mid tide when the tide is rising. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. Beware of rips and sharks.
