“Amazing waterfalls”
Founded with the aim of preserving the exceptional natural and cultural-historical features of the Krka River, the Krka National Park is home to the unique travertine waterfalls and other valuable geomorphological and hydrological structures, as well as the landscapes that will leave you breathless. Situated in southern Croatia, within Šibenik-Knin county, the Krka National Park includes the Krka river and the lower course of the Čikola river. The area was proclaimed the national park in 1985 due to the beauty of the karst river, the distinctiveness of its natural phenomena and its cultural and historical monuments.
When you visit make sure to spend an afternoon at Skraninski buk, an unbelievably beautiful waterfall and natural pool. In an area of only 400 m, there are 17 waterfalls all a variety of different heights, widths, and shapes. It's seriously one of the most beautiful places on earth.
If you're overwhelmed at the idea of missing something, make sure to take advantage of the parks tours that take groups all over the national park to see all the places you wont want to miss.
