Renovated in 2007, this charming resort hotel offers incredible views of the Pacific Ocean from almost any spot on the property, thanks to its cliff-top setting. A relaxing, restful and romantic ambiance surrounds the hotel and its total of 72 rooms. Its design is reminiscent of an old Greek town and includes domes and a blue and white colour scheme, however the interiors of the rooms and the communal areas feature traditional Mexican decoration. Facilities on offer to guests include a lobby area with a 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, a cafe, a bar, a karaoke bar and 2 restaurants. Guests may also take advantage of the WLAN/Internet access and the room and laundry services. Parking is available for those arriving by car. Location This hotel enjoys an ideal location at Rosarito Beach, by an internationally known surf spot (km 38). The rocky/shingle beach is a 10-minute drive away, as is the centre of Playas de Rosarito and guests will find the nearest nightclub and shops 15-20 minutes away on public transport. It is 10 minutes north of Puerto Nuevo, 1 hour from Ensenada and the wine-producing area of the Guadalupe Valley, 30 minutes south of Tijuana and 45 minutes from San Diego, California. Its excellent location makes this hotel a great base from which to explore the surrounding area. Rooms The standard rooms offer 18 m and enjoy 180 ocean views. They have a private balcony and some feature a terrace. All rooms are decorated in traditional Mexican style and come with a private bathroom with a shower/bathtub and a hairdryer as well as a direct dial telephone, cable TV and Internet access. They are also equipped with an ironing set and a king-size or double bed. All rooms feature either a balcony or a terrace. Sport This hotel features a holistic spa which is very well-known in the area and which offers a wide variety of services (charges apply) including massages, facials, yoga classes and facilities such as a steam room as well as regional products to take home.
