Whitianga Campground offers self-catering accommodation located across the road from Buffalo Beach. Guests have access to a shared kitchen and dining area, along with a children’s playground and gas barbecues. Surrounded by a river on one side and native trees on the other, Whitianga Campground is just a 2-minute drive from Whitianga town centre. Each studio features a kitchenette, TV and access to shared bathroom facilities. All of the self-contained chalets have a kitchenette, separate bedrooms and private bathroom. 50MB free Wi-Fi is included per stay. Whitianga Campgrounds include a sauna, an internet kiosk, a guest laundry and hiking trails. There is a boat parking area and kayaks can be launched into the river, which connects to Whitianga Harbour. Please note that, for security purposes, the front gate to the property is locked at 22.30 and unlocked at 07:30 each day. If you expect to arrive after 22:00, please inform Whitianga Campground in advance, using the contact details found on the booking confirmation. Please note that guests must bring the hard copy of their reservation confirmation with them. Mobile confirmation is not accepted. Please note that Whitianga Campground requires a $100.00 bond on arrival for group bookings of more than 3 rooms.
