Manu Bay (also known as The Point) is a world famous surfing area. It is about six km south of Raglan. The surf at Manu Bay came to international attention in 1966 after Manu Bay was featured in the movie ‘Endless Summer’. Manu Bay is the home of the Point Board Rider’s Club who hold regular competitions. Every year Manu Bay is also home to several international surfing competitions.
