Common Grounds Coffee House and Cafe is one-of-a-kind in Lexington, Kentucky. For over 17 years, we've offered a wide variety of coffees, espresso drinks, and teas. We are also proud to offer an extensive food menu. The menu includes muffins, bagels, scones, sandwiches, wraps, quiche, salads, soups, cookies, cakes, and pies. Our coffee house was established in 1992 which makes us the first official coffee house in Lexington. Since then we've grown into a comfy two story oasis for people to get great coffee, good cafe style food, and phenomenal smoothies. We'd love for you to stop by and hang out for awhile.

You gotta check out their Open Mic Nights on Mondays. It can get a little crammed so be sure to show up early, but they have some pretty entertaining acts come through. (both good & bad)

A great place for enjoying a drink and hanging out for awhile. It's also a cool venue for local artists, musicians, and more. Their WiFi was too dodgy to get anything done during the afternoon, but besides that it's a perfect work/study oasis.
