White Water Branson is a 13-acre commercial recreational water park located in the small tourist town of Branson, in southwestern Missouri on the border with Arkansas and is known by most in the area as just White Water. It features a wave pool for swimming, water rides, private poolside cabana rentals, dining and shopping. It is open seasonally from May to September. Admission is per-person per-day with some package rates. When it opened in 1980, the park was intended to simulate a beachside landing, featuring the very first wave pool, and public and private cabanas. The park has been expanded over the years to meet the thrill needs of the modern era incorporating large and thrilling water rides. Park Rules: Children under 16 must be accompanied by adult. No pets, no alcohol, no food from outside park, smoking only in designated areas. Rides: Some rides have height requirements. SurfQuake Wave Pool - A large pool with tube slides for floating. Large waves are expelled every 15 minutes. Maximum depth is 8ft. When wakes occur pool may be 12ft deep at most. Aloha River (Formerly "Lazy River") - A large interactive pool, with a stream traveling up to 5mph while passengers float on provided inner tubes. Ohana Falls (Formerly "Tropical Twister") - A ProSlide Mammoth style family ride. Pipeline Plunge (Formerly "Caribbean Plunge") - Two tube slides ending in a catch poolWaikiki Wave - A series of intense tube slides. There are blue and white ones. They do not permit double inner tubes. Kalani Towers - New in 2007, it is a four-person ProSlide Racer (The Tower Racer), and a steep 70 degree drop freefall body slide (The Speed Slide). Also known as a ProSlide Pipeline.Kapau Plummet-New for 2014,The tower is 40 feet tall. Its two three foot wide slides use 1000 gallons of water per minute, are each just over 240 feet long and transport riders at speeds up to 26 feet per second. The $1.7 million ride has a capacity of 360 riders per hour.
