Proxy Falls

Proxy Falls is one of America's most beautiful waterfalls. It's seriously next-level. As one of the most photographed falls in the country it can get pretty busy during the spring, summer, and fall. This spring-fed waterfall has a wall of columnar basalt that's lined in moss...I'm not kidding when I say words really can't do this place justice. The water cascades down over 200 feet in what looks like a veil of water, hence the term Veil Falls. You can access the trails just off the McKenzie Pass Highway. When you reach the junction of Highways 126 and 242, follow signs towards 242 for a little over 6 miles, and you'll see signs for Proxy Falls Trailhead. Just follow the trail, which is conveniently a loop. A good tip is to follow the trail in the opposite direction it suggests, so basically in a clockwise fashion, so that you hit Upper Proxy Falls first, and then the Lower falls vantage point last.
