We open our lodge and facilities on selected weekends to enable hikers to stop by our club for rest and refreshment after enjoying a day exploring the trails and woods of Mt. Tamalpais. Founded in 1912, is the San Francisco branch of the worldwide Nature Friends organization based in Vienna, Austria, whose goals are to promote nature appreciation, outdoor activities, conservation, and international friendship and understanding. The Tourist Club is a private facility for the use of its members, however the Tourist Club welcomes guests for our Festivals, held annually in May, July, and September, and occasional activities and events, which are posted on our calendar.
