“soul food!”
Bourbon. Chicken. Biscuits. Still not convinced? They've also got pimento cheese, shrimp and grits, meatloaf, collards, mash, baked beans, soups, salads and more.
Smashing little brunch spot. I had eggs Benedict but with fried green tomatoes instead of the bread. Awesome. It's fast, friendly, spacious and kid friendly.
Went in today for Sunday brunch and ordered the chicken and waffle for Sunday Brunch, came with a two eggs over easy, which were cooked perfectly. The chicken and waffle were not super hot, they tasted amazing, but a bit on the room temperature side. I also ordered a mimosa, and it would have been better if it was chilled. Aside from that, the decor is really bright and airy, and the staff were super nice. Will definitely go back.
Had the fried chicken (which came with a biscuit), and the grits, collards, and mac and cheese. It was all phenomenal, especially the chicken (dare I say...better than The Eagle?) which was light and crispy. The bourbon whiskey sour was excellent as well, and I couldn't turn down a bit of pie for dessert. The pecan chess pie was even better than I thought it would be-- like extra caramelly pecan pie. The hot chicken biscuit looked out of this world good as well!
