“Hand-made ice cream”
Little Man Ice Cream is named after the founder’s father, Peter Tamburello (Little Man). Although small in stature to those who knew him, he was big in heart. Making a difference in the world was his legacy. Little Man Ice Cream is Paul’s way of keeping his father’s legacy resilient. Inspired by vintage Coney Island hot dog-shaped stands, business is conducted within a twenty-eight foot tall, 14,000 lb. cream can. Little Man Ice Cream is all about the EXPERIENCE! The customer’s experience is one of pure nostalgia nestled in the 21st Century. Little Man Ice Cream builds on the time honored tradition of the neighborhood ice cream store. In the 1920’s, 30’s, and 40’s, unique American food concepts like donuts, hot dogs, or ice cream were celebrated and memorialized by roadside monuments built to expand on the food experience itself. If you could enjoy a great hot dog… in a forty-foot-long hot dog, how could it get any better?! The Little Man experience is a successful reminiscent of these eras. Little Man has created the experience of vintage Route 66 and town squares, county fairs and amusement parks. From the great flavors of homemade ice creams & hand-crafted malts, to the smell of fresh waffle cones cooked on site, mixed with the music of classic cartoons, all in a setting reminiscent of the past—it is Little Man’s goal develop competitive advantage by engaging all of the customer’s senses.
