The Providence Performing Arts Center is located at 220 Weybosset Street. It is the second largest theatre of its kind in New England. It is a 3,100-seat, world class venue located in the heart of Providence’s arts and entertainment district. The theatre became known as the “Jewel of Weybosset Street” after its doors opened as Loew’s State Movie Palace in 1928. PPAC features all types of performances. It is now a world-class facility hosting first-class Broadway touring shows, plays, contemporary acts, concerts, and much more. The beauty of the Theatre combined with the excellence of the productions makes every event at the Providence Performing Arts Center a work of art!
