Dry Ridge Trail begins with a two mile continuous 10-15% uphill grade. The trail offers good views of Clackamas River and, at the higher elevations, of the Roaring River canyon. The trail intersects Grouse Point Trail #517 at six miles. (Grouse Point Trail east will take you to Rock Lakes Basin area.) Directions from Estacada: Travel south Hwy. 224 for 18 miles. Turn left into Roaring River Campground. The trail begins at the northwest end of the campground near campsites #6 and #7. Seasonal Information: Normally Accessible: May through November
