Originally build by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930's, it offers a rare opportunity to picnic in the middle of an old-growth grove while viewing McKenzie River's famous white water. The town of McKenzie Bridge is 3 miles west providing acess to a grocery store, restaurant, and pay phone. There is an ampitheater at this site as well. Paradise Day Use Area is located approximately 4 miles east of McKenzie Bridge at an elevation of 1,600 feet. This area has 4 sites with tables and fire rings. Potable water and toilets are available. he town of McKenzie Bridge is 3 miles west where one has access to a grocery store, restaurant, gasoline and pay phone. Directions from McKenzie Bridge: Travel east on Hwy. 126 to Paradise Campground. The Day Use Area is located here.
