“A camper's delight”
Chinook Bend is truly a camper's delight. It's a destination, not a one night stand. It's one of a kind. It's a place for the fortunate few. People come to Chinook Bend, and never want to leave. Open to the Public. Although we are primarily a membership park, we also welcome the public throughout the year. We have an 85 Acre property complete with city water and 30 or 50 amp sites. We can accommodate RV's, trailers, tents, and any combination of them. Rental trailers as well as cabins are also available. We even allow horses for those "TRUE" Western types. So bring your family, friends, pets, and fishing poles to the place you will never want to leave......

Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on November 05, 2022Owner Sean is friendly and helpful. Unfortunately that’s the only positive. This park isn’t run down; it’s dilapidated. I saw a video of this park online done by an Oregon tourism organization. It must have been done a decade ago. The permanent residents have let their “rigs” decay and the clutter is sad. Park owners need to make a serious investment in improving the park and facilities.

Like the other reviewer said, Sean was really nice, but the place is in really bad shape. We only stayed here because of the Passport America rate. The place is huge and is right on the river, but it is in really bad shape. Our site was next to what seemed like an abandoned old RV and the sewer drain from another site. The dock didn’t look safe and the other buildings were so run down. The tent sites are really nice, mowed grass with out houses. Nice trails around. It’s about 10minutes to town, restaurants & shops.

Coast to Coast RV resort - not very “resortish”. Bathroom smelled of urine, cold. Placed on the riverbank in a rainstorm- got ZERO sleep as I watched the River rise almost 10 feet in only a couple hours. No cell signal. WiFi $3 a day and doesn’t work reliably. The whole campground floods. Couldn’t get away fast enough.

This place was wonderfully welcoming when we called with a late arrival. They had clean grassy sites with hook ups. They have bathrooms with showers and a nice dog walk area. There is a country store and a play ground.
They have boats and kayaks for rent as well as fishing tackle to purchase.
The surrounding mountains are on all side with fabulous views, fresh air, and peaceful birds chirping.
