“Hot dogs, burgers and shakes since 1976”
Jaspers Cafe began in 1976 in historic downtown Medford offering hot dogs and pies....Mel Sherbourne would travel to the bay area of Northern California to bring back a specific hot dog known as the "Casper Dog"...We serve that dog to this day. 36 years later...Gourmet hamburgers began when current owners John and Janet took over the business on January 1, 2007. At this time Jaspers offers over 40 wild, unique and very creative gourmet and "extreme" gourmet hamburgers. All of their burgers are hand pressed, fresh daily. In addition to their delicious lean beef burgers Jaspers has wild game meats such as bison, elk, wild boar, Himalayan "blue" antelope, kangaroo, water buffalo and Kobe beef....these lean meats are delicious and extremely popular. Jaspers also has an entire range of delicious milkshakes, with over 20 flavors to choose from. All of our shakes are hand-scooped ice cream blended in a traditional Hamilton Beach shake blender.
