“Jerusalem in Miniature”

Known throughout the world as ‘Jerusalem in Miniature,’ is a beautifully landscaped, four-acre park designed to provide a natural setting for the 125 miniature reproductions of some of the most famous historic buildings and shrines of the world. The masterpieces of stone and concrete are the lifetime work of Brother Joseph Zoettl, a Benedictine monk of St. Bernard Abbey. Begun as a hobby, with various materials he could find, and infinite patience and a remarkable sense of symmetry and proportion, Brother Joseph recreated some of the greatest edifices of all time.

For seven dollars it was worth every penny and then some! A little note for future trippers keep your eyes open for every detail as well as for small reptiles such as an abundance of small lizards and one small chicken snake.

Very detailed miniature buildings, churches, etc. Interesting for all ages. You walk down a small hill, but there is a sidewalk and handrails. Interesting depiction of many structures and biblical scenes also

The pictures of this place do not do it justice. The grotto is amazing ! A true work of artistry and craftsmanship. Allow 30-90 min depending upon your interest but it’s a must see.

One of my favorite interstate stops in the South East! It is a peaceful and ornate art-garden. (I love the bridge built for squirrels too!)

Beautiful walking tour, little shade on the walking tour if you happen to visit in August as we did.

The place is peaceful and pretty. The staff is respectful and attentive. The path was well maintained although it wouldnt be easy for those who have a hard time with hills.

So much attention was paid to the sculptures and it is apparent that Brother Joseph loved his labor. Even for those without a religious bent, there's enough historical significance that it's worthwhile.

Just be careful of the local wildlife. Lizards and a snake shared the space.

Nice stop just a few miles off 65. A peaceful spot with incredible, historic replicas of buildings and landmarks from across the world. Well worth the time and small admission price.

Enjoyed immensely, very artistic, very beautiful, very serene, well kept, a long walk with sloping hills. A good place for reflection.
Well worth the time and money. Although it has a lot of shade, summer would be hard on those with heat issues and with little children.
