“Not just A diner.. THE diner”
Absolutely the best hangover cure, heart-break fixer, and stomach quencher! A local favorite for breakfast, with amazing burgers and chili. Try the eggarito and chili dogs! The Diner is a 50's style diner with big, hearty portions of classic American and Tex-Mex cooking. The space housing the Diner has been a restaurant since it was built in 1890, although under various names and owners. The present decor was the result of a revamping by Ruby back in the 1950’s, when the Diner bore her name. Mark Amspacher, owner for the past 15 years, passed away in February 2010. The Diner is now owned and operated by his wife Claire Amspacher and his daughter Bonnie Amspacher, who will do their best to make your visit fabulous. The Diner has appeared in various student films, on boxes of Cain’s tea, in Playboy magazine and on The Food Network’s Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives!
