We stopped in on a rainy day. Not a large facility, took us 45 minutes to walk thru, but very educational. My 9 yr. old daughter loved reading about all the rescued sea turtles and getting to see them up close.

The Loggerhead Marinelife Center is a research, rehabilitation, and education facility focused on protecting sea turtles in Florida. Here you’ll find injured or sick turtles that need care and protection from further harm. Note that if you find a sea turtle in need, you can contact the center for help.

At the Marinelife Center, you’ll also have a chance to learn more about these fascinating creatures. The non-profit offers family-friendly interactive exhibits and educational programs where you can learn about sea turtles and their habitats. A virtual reality rescue, puppet show, and fishing program are just some of the fun activities you’ll find here.

If you’d rather go out in the field, the center also offers eco-tours and beach walks at the local nesting sites.

We think a visit here is one of the best things to do in Jupiter, FL!

Loved our visit here. Our kids are 8, 6, and 6 and they were amazed by all of the sea turtles. Especially the ones over 100lbs! It took less than an hour to see everything which is perfect on a hot day. The volunteers were very knowledgeable and friendly.
