“a world-class tourist attraction”

Far more than a nature lover's paradise, Falls Park on the Reedy, located in downtown Greenville's Historic West End, is one of Greenville's greatest treasures. The park serves as an oasis within the city - a place where people gather to work, play and celebrate life. The multi-use facility lends itself to a wide variety of activities for people of all ages and interests. Harriet Wyche was among the visionaries who recognized the inherent beauty of the Reedy River basin and pursued the development of Falls Park into a world-class tourist attraction. Wyche, a member of the Carolina Foothills Garden Club, worked with the City of Greenville to adopt a master beautification/development plan for the 26-acre park that included scenic overlooks, nature trails, a landbridge and the creation of six specialty gardens. To date, the club has invested more than a million dollars in beautifying and upgrading the park. Through the vision and tenacity of the Carolina Foothills Garden Club, Falls Park continues to be highly regarded as a visually stunning centerpiece of Greenville.

Great stop to see a beautiful waterfall. Park at 301 University Ridge. Walk down Howe Street until you get to the circle. Follow the signs to the falls.

Worth a stop. Great suspension bridge and beautiful falls. Stop at the bubble tea shop and try the lazy goat restaurant. Bring the kids swim suit for the sprinklers.

Great park! Beautiful scenery and I always see children wading in the river. Has many amazing restaurants near by, including one with an outdoor seating area overviewing the bridge!

Beautiful falls with a suspension bridge that allows you to walk over them and get a different view. The park has beautiful scenery and it is a great place to escape the city.

I live here and I love this place. Pretty much go every weekend. It does boring after a while but if you've never been here, it's pretty great. They even built a little stage off to the side where they put on plays. It's really pretty and a great family picnic spot.
