Quiet little place. Tons of shade. Feels old-timey. Restaurant and coffee bar seem popular but we didn’t use them. Lots of PCT hikers staying here. Site was about 4-5” out of level. Staff was very friendly.

BEWARE!!!!!
The pictures on the website are NOTHING compared to being there in person. ESPECIALLY the picture of the lake. It should be taken down..The campgrounds are dilapidated and dirty. You can't even move the picnic tables for fear they will fall apart. The dock is super dangerous, but there is no water around it anyway, so no reason to go for a walk on or near it. (the owner said it was because they let the water out and they just started filling it back up....yes that happens but not to this extreme) I am a solo traveler and did not feel safe in the surroundings...I canceled when i got there, thinking I would be refunded for 2 of the 3 nights, but Sarah, the owner, alerted me to the fact they have a 30 day no refund policy....i see why... i am confident they get a lot of travelers that leave when they see how contradictory the photos are. I landed at Lake of the woods, just a few miles up the road, and am sooooo glad I did!!! Turns out several folks I met did the same thing...reserved Fish Lake and left immediately upon arrival.
