Fractal Desert Rivers

In the desert of Baja California, Mexico, there are desert rivers forming treelike figures.  The incredible fractal pattern rivers (now dried out)were created as the water spread into the salt flats of the Baja California Desert in Mexico. Most interesting is that these patterns are nearly identical to the Lichtenberg Figures that result from an electrical discharge. Have you ever seen someone with a scar from a lightning strike? It looks identical. Nature, you crazy.
