The Gloucester County Jail has gained a reputation for being a creepy haunted hotspot.

After being abandoned due to budget cuts in early 2013, all 300 inmates were shuffled to another jail and employees slashed, leaving the facility open for the Jersey Unique Minds Paranormal Society to come in and perform a series of in-depth paranormal investigations. Their results were interesting, to say the least.

Their initial reports included phantom voices, strange shadows, and mysterious sounds, but the icing on the supernatural cake was an incredibly loud slam, "as if a metal trash can or broom hit the concrete floor and bounced two or three times before the silence." Upon further inspection, nothing appeared out of place.
