Nestled in the Ozarks, Branson, Missouri has been a popular travel destination since 1894. Renowned for its natural beauty, fun attractions and live shows, "60 Minutes" dubbed Branson the “live music capital of the entire universe.”

Its famous Highway 76 is lined with theaters hosting a wide variety of family-friendly entertainment. There are also exciting attractions including Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede, the Branson Ferris Wheel and Silver Dollar City, an 1800s-themed amusement park.

The area is home to three lakes, offering a wealth of outdoor activities. Table Rock Lake is perfect for boating, bass fishing, waterskiing and more. Lake Taneycomo is ideal for trout fishing and kayaking. World-class golf courses, public parks, resorts, campgrounds, show caves and forests abound.

Branson is located near the geographic center of the U.S. and has mostly mild weather. Winter is calm with little snow, spring delivers beautiful blooms, warm summers make water sports more fun, and fall is full of vibrant color. From November-December, Branson is transformed into a Christmas wonderland with millions of lights and holiday-themed performances. Live shows can be enjoyed year-round, with the peak season running March-December.
