“Ride the world's longest roller coaster zipline!”
Ziplining is a special kind of fun. There's not much more exciting than being strapped into a tiny harness suspended in the air and speeding through the treetops. In fact, the only problem with ziplines is that they have to go in a straight line. Well, not anymore. Meet the roller coaster zip line. The Crazy Treetop Rider an insane zip line ride that loops and zigzags through the treetops, works on the same principle as a traditional zip line - you're still strapped into a harness and pushed from a really tall ledge - but on this line, you aren't rushing a tight cable, you're speeding down a suspended track that recreates the feeling of a roller coaster and reaches heights of nearly six-storys high. Oh yeah, and it's three times as long as any other tree-based zipline in the world. The crazy contraption is the creation of a few Aussies who didn't want to settle for the same old zip line. Sandrine Gaymard, the owner of Tree Top Adventure Park in the Ourimbah State Forest, described the ride as “a five minute fast and furious experience.” “Zip lines usually travel in a straight line but we thought it would be incredible to build some to go around the trees, up and down, and even with 360 degree loops to really ramp up the fun factor,” she told local news. “The result is amazing. It’s a twisty, curly, thrilling ride in the tree tops and we’re proud to offer something truly unique and ground breaking to Australian eco-tourism.” -Roadtrippers Screams of excitement and joy ring out from high in the branches at TreeTop Adventure Park as people from all ages experience the daring adventures on offer. Like Tarzan deep in the jungle they can slide down flying foxes, move from tree to tree on suspension bridges and jump from liana up to 20m above the forest floor. These eco-friendly adventure activities are great for the body and mind, and gentle on the environment. This multi-award winning park caters for people from all walks of life and all levels of fitness.
