“the ultimate urban inn”
The Morgan State House is located on beautiful Washington Park, designed by Fredrick Law Olmsted, the celebrated architect of many of the world’s most beautiful public spaces, including Central Park and Prospect Park in NYC. The Washington Park District, lovely in every season, is the gateway to Albany’s businesses, Capitol Building, medical centers, universities, museums and entertainment venues. The 1884 New York style mansion was restored to fulfill a niche that did not previously exist in the Capital District. We provide professional service in an atmosphere that is immaculate, comfortable, secure and restful. Our guests include business and political leaders, celebrities, and upscale travelers looking for great accommodations at a good value. Understanding the needs of our guests is our top priority. Our English garden is a spacious, tranquil sanctuary in the heart of the city. Enjoy breakfast, relax with a beverage, or ask to reserve it for a private occasion. Our beds are our signature feature. Feather-mattresses, down comforters and soft cotton sheets provide the ultimate night’s rest. Our conference room is available to meet your business needs and can accommodate up to twelve people.
