Made a huge mistake staying at this location. We booked this place over the phone for a 3 day stay in our travel trailer. We saw some photos and thought the area was pretty, which it was. The campsites are chosen for you, so we didn't get a choice of where we wanted to camp. Upon seeking this place out, the photos didn't show how close the train or freeway was. We thought it was going to be further off the I-90 freeway than it was. It was pretty windy when we arrived so we didn't notice the traffic noise as much until later in the day. Then a train across the river came by soon after and it was loud and blowing a horn for a road crossing. There were 4 other people camping in tents and at least 5 other campsites that had RV's in them, so we figured the noise wasn't going to be bad over night. OH, it was beyond awful. All the other campers were gone the next morning when we woke from our sleepless night. The noise was intolerable, so around 2:00pm in the afternoon, we packed up and got out of there! We didn't even ask for a refund, we just left. I know if you were incredibly tired and needed to stop here, I don't think your will get much sleep unless you had ear plugs. It's a bummer since the area is so pretty.

We stopped in mainly to plug in for AC for our pups. We were super excited to be able to take a quick dip in the river. The hosts were super nice. We had a great meal at the restaurant as well.
Would stop in again.

I agree that it's a noisy campground -- I-90 is 80 MPH so the traffic noise is high and there is a train across the river. There are a lot of trees and the entrance is very narrow, but rigs much larger than mine made it into the park. The bathrooms are nothing special -- only one shower. What makes this a good place to stay is the restaurant since the food is very good. I was pretty tired when I stopped and starved so it was nice to walk over and get such a nice meal. The folks running the place are very nice and helpful. The view across the river is beautiful. Great Verizon coverage. And come on -- when you want an overnight stop that's quickly accessible from the highway aren't they all noisy?
The power wasn't working at the site I was assigned so they ran an extremely long power cord from another pedestal. I wasn't wild about it but it worked fine while I stayed. They need to get the pedestal fixed.

The checkin proceeds was quick and the staff were great to deal with. The campground is sandwiched between the Clark Fork River and I-90. The location was great right off of I-90 but the road noise was fairly loud as you could see the tractor trailers wizzing by. The sites were pretty tight and not level side to side or front to back. We ended up using 3 layers of leveling blocks.
In short if it is needed for a quick pull off one nighter it’s great but staying any longer than that would be a bit long.

We pulled in for the night as we were passing through the area. Our site, 11, was very tight because we have slides on both sides Of our camper and the trees were right where our slides ended up being. We pulled forward quite a bit to make it work and glad we had extra water/sewer hoses to still be able to connect. The campground is kept up very well. Yes, you have the freeway right next to you so there is noise but it didn’t bother us. Slept fine. Main reason for stopping here is we needed laundry. Out of the two machines they had, one was working. But it’s a small campground and thankfully no one else was in need of laundry that day while I worked through all of ours.

Great restaurant, good cell service, awesome food. We pulled in our 45ft. Entegra with a little trouble but got in and we had no problem leveling. The freeway is noisy but the river and view is worth it to us. Not far from Missoula for shopping. Our camp site was roomy and clean. The restaurant and bar was very nice and modern. We enjoyed it here.

Our arrival was smooth because the campground has excellent signage letting you know where to park RVs and what door to enter to check-in. Once inside, I waited a few minutes before an employee was able to check me in. Our site was long. We were able to move up some to get level. Our site was water/electric only. There are full hook-up sites, tent sites, and a dump station. The campground is speckled with beautiful evergreens that keep everything shady.
Views are spectacular. Clark Fork River is beautiful. The campground has a short trail labeled, "River Trail," allowing patrons to walk down to the edge of the river. Cut wood is available. The restaurant has very good food. We shared a buffalo burger, fries, and loaded potato skins. All were absolutely delicious! Verizon worked very well. Interstate road noise and train noise were present, but not overbearing.
Make sure to visit the Natural Fishing Pier on Frontage Road (look for the sign after exiting the Interstate). This is a beautiful gem with an osprey nest visible on the trail. Also, a one-lane bridge is nearby and worth driving your toad across (constructed in the early 1900s). All beautiful and peaceful experiences!

Arrived during heavy rain. Lots of large, water filled potholes. Mud everywhere.
RV registration was very confusing. Followed the RV signs, but were told to drive around the restaurant and park, then had to walk to motel to register.
Didn’t use facilities or restaurant. Sites extremely unlevel. Didn’t attempt to level. Sites 4 & 5 extremely close. Our slide almost touched the tree. Moving back was not an option because of the condition of the site. Very close to the interstate and frontage road.
Trains pass by, but didn’t really bother us. Interstate traffic was more disturbing.
Maybe the summertime would be a better time to stay.
No cable or satellite service.

A family meet up as they were headed to Washington and us to Wyoming. Wanted a place with a dog-friendly hotel, big rig RV hookups and close to a restaurant. This place fit the bill perfectly. Bonus, close to Missoula to do Costco run. The hotel rooms were super clean and quaint with great river views. Our site was level and everything worked. The staff was friendly and helpful. The on-property restaurant was great, our steak was cooked perfectly and the garlic mushrooms were a hit.
