“food that'll remind you of grandma's cookin'”
Opened in 1999 by the restaurant's namesake, Cecilia Baca, the cafe carries only authentic, traditional New Mexican cuisine. One of their popular items is the Firemanâs 10 lb Burrito, which consists of 10 eggs, 2 lbs of potatoes, ½ lb of bacon, ½ lb of sausage, ½ lb of chiccarones, 1 ½ lb of bean, ½ lb of red chile, ½ lb of green chile and ½ lb of cheese, takes three people to wrap it and as a part of the challenge, must be consumed in 90 minutes or less
Just had an amazing lunch at the cafe. Friendly atmosphere. Food very quick to arrive and the most delicious meal we have had on our trip.
