The new Alpine California Welcome Center is the gateway for information on East County’s majestic mountains, sparkling lakes, deep canyons and renowned Anza-Borrego State Park. East County is one of the most diverse areas in San Diego County. The region boasts a beauty of its own with majestic mountains, sparkling lakes, deep canyons and the breathtaking Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. In addition to the striking landscape, the region features popular casinos, an outlet center, resorts, unique communities, historic sites and annual festivals that guests can enjoy throughout the year. Let the friendly staff of the Alpine California Welcome Center act as your free “tour counselor” when planning either or a California “vacation” or a San Diego “staycation”! Loads of free brochures, guides, maps and friendly suggestions are waiting for you along with lists of free and discounted things to do in San Diego including all the major attractions. The Center is open Monday through Saturday, 10 AM – 5 PM and Sundays 11 AM through 4 PM. California Welcome Centers are California's Official State Visitor Centers offering valuable information and services for today's traveler. The CWCs are here as your personal travel concierge to assist you in all aspects of your California trip.
