The Alto Bar was opened in 1900 by John Henry "Harry" Lane. Harry Lane lived with his wife Alta French Lane in Campbell Township, Ionia County, Michigan. Harry was born on May 21, 1874 in Burwell Cambridgeshire, England.(The 10th Child)Harry Immigrated with his mother and other relatives and siblings in July of 1883, from London to New York. Harry passed on February 23, 1960 in Hastings, Michigan. The Alto Bar features ONE POUND NY Strip Streaks, served every Friday from 5pm until 8pm. This is an example of our one pound NY Strip. The Alto Bar purchases only the finest cuts of USDA inspected steaks from local farmers. Locally Raised, Locally Grilled, Locally Enjoyed. We also custom cut 2 pound T-Bones. For a T-bone Reservation call us at 616-868-9961 by 12 noon on any Friday.
