“unusual vintage RV’s”

Welcome to the Jack Sisemore Traveland RV Museum. The Sisemore’s began restoring and collecting unusual vintage RV’s over 25 years ago. They have built a museum that houses many of the RV’s in their collection. These include the Flxible Bus from the Movie RV, the 1st Itasca motor home ever built. The oldest Fleetwood in existence and many other RV’s from the 30’s, 40’s, 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. The museum is free to the public and is open Monday – Saturday 9-5. Step back in time, reminisce and enjoy the progression of the RV industry from its inception till now.

Most definitely worth a stop! So many vintage RVs and motorcycles, each decked out with period decor. Perfectly inspiring for any road tripper. It is within the RV dealership, so don't be discouraged when you pull up and everything looks modern. Just let them know you're there for the museum and they'll be happy to help you.

So upset, closed for covid. The dealership and showroom floor and store are open but the museum is closed???? My kids were so disappointed. Website says they are open.

Totally enjoyable stop. Kids (5, 9 yrs) loved it as well. Easily an hour to hour and half spent inside, mostly day dreaming of old school travels!

So glad we stayed an extra day in Amarillo to see this. They are only open Thursday through Saturday so plan ahead. Took me back to my childhood days as I viewed a pop up the same age as one I camped in as a kid. A wooden boat and an El Camino the same era as my big brother owned. A trailer similar to the one we use to take our son’s camping in 40+ years ago. Besides the Rv’s they have ice chests, ice cream makers all things that brought back memories. My husband also delighted in the dirt bikes and motorcycle. Cool place to stop.

June-‘21- so disappointed! There is NO MORE RV museum! The RV lot told me it had been moved 9 miles out of town. Went to the address given. Yes, it is a Jack Sizemore storage with no marked museum, front entrance, nor parking lot.

Don’t go here if you are towing a trailer. Small lot with no trailer parking at all when we went by. Not close to the interstate so you end up towing through downtown on narrow streets and the drivers tend to be a bit rude.

We never found a place to park so after an hour to fighting traffic we moved on to our next stop.

Too bad as I have heard it’s a really cool collection.

Very cute and fun stop! We held on to the kids pretty close as most RVs were look don’t touch but they and we really enjoyed the stop and visit.

Definitely stop here. The museum is behind the RV repair center. Get to walk through some of the RVs. Pretty cool little stop.
