Iconic route 66 establishment that often has live music and good pub grub. Burgers, buffalo burgers, chili and stew, grilled cheese sandwiches, chicken breast sandwiches, and of course, some pie! The legendary GoldenLight Cantina was established in 1996 and has since become the premier live music venue in Amarillo. It has become a regular stop for many distinguished and emerging artists such as: Joe Ely, The Gourds, Eleven Hundred Springs, Dusty Rhodes and the River Band, Uncle Lucius, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Cooder Graw, Charlie Shafter, Todd Snider, Junior Brown, Band of Heathens, Wheeler Brothers, Shinyribs, Rob Baird and the list goes on and on and on to the googolplex.
