“Photo Op in Amarillo, TX”
A giant piece of public folk art, featuring a pair of giant cut off legs.
This was kind of a pain to find. Once we got there, we didn't get out, there was mud everywhere, the socks are now hot pink and covered with disgusting grafitti.
Not worth the stop! Not good location glass every where. Fence closed off.
Looks nothing like the picture. Spray painted blue and full of graffiti. Not worth the time.
Meh. They're weird and big and heavily graffitied.
It was easy to detour on the way back to our Amarillo hotel from Palo Duro Canyon. The legs are mostly covered with grafitti but you can get some great "artistic" photos if you use your imagination.
There was glass and mud all over the side of the road where you have to park and the sign and actual legs are covered in graffiti. We were pretty disappointed. I wouldn't waste the time unless it gets cleaned up.
DON'T BRING SPRAY PAINT!! Awesome pic for the scape books. I stop on my way from Oklahoma to New Mexico everytime. Gives me a chance to stretch my legs too. No pun intended.
