“Home of the Anaheim Angels”
Angel Stadium is a modern-style ballpark located in Anaheim, California, United States. Since it opened in 1966 it has served as the home ballpark of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim of Major League Baseball, and was also home to the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League (NFL) from 1980 to 1994. The stadium is often referred to by its unofficial nickname The Big A. It is the fourth-oldest active Major League Baseball stadium, behind Fenway Park, Wrigley Field, and Dodger Stadium. It hosted the 1967, 1989, and 2010 Major League Baseball All-Star Games.
Walked to the stadium from our hotel. Walkways to and from the stadium are not clearly marked, and very few cutouts for mobility scooters outside. Once in the stadium it was great. We had Diamond Club seats, view was great. Food bill for three adults was reasonable for really good ballpark fare.
Great park that fits all your needs. Easy to get in, and easy to get out. Easy to navigate through the stadium. Fun view of the freeway if you're sitting behind home plate or along 3rd base line. The MOST FAMILY FRIENDLY when it comes to merchandise and food. I was able to get a lot of cool Angels gear without breaking the bank. $5 hats and Jersey Shirts are always good and food is fair and around same price. Kids loved Stadium experience.
