“great food, cold beer, & good friends”
With the era of the "milkman" coming to a close, Red Fraser - with a wife and four kids - needed a career move. His love of sports and people gave him an idea. Red found the perfect location, a failed business on Packard. In Huckleberry Finn fashion, he convinced his family and friends to help make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear. In the fall of 1962, the Fraser’s Pub Sports Bar was launched. It stared as a small, cozy place with a large fireplace, a short bar at the end of the room and just six bar stools and fifteen tables. In 1969, an addition was completed to accommodate a longer bar for Red’s afternoon sports seminar. Through the years, with the help of many dedicated employees, Fraser’s Pub has maintained the reputation of a fun place to come to – with great food, cold beer and good friends. The boys constantly improved Fraser’s Pub: larger TV screens, deck, new exterior and much more.
