The Appleton Inn

You have arrived at the Appleton Inn, we call it our home. When you visit us it's an experience, not just a place to sleep. This home is “A feast for the eyes!” as our vibrant colors welcome you. Our enjoyment of people and finding out about others have led us to this wonderful venture. Visitors have said “Carole and Gordy were made for this job”. We believe we were.  After purchasing “this old house”, built in the 1800s, we decided to convert it to a bed-and-breakfast. After 10 years of work and revision we opened.  We allow our guest to customize their stay and feel completely at home. You can have quiet and be left alone, join in lively conversations with our other guests, or you can just enjoy our beautiful town and its surroundings. This includes wonderful restaurants within walking distance, a performing arts center, clubs, parks and bike trails. Or just sit on the porch and people watch or read. We would like to welcome you by introducing ourselves and our home through this website.
