“Alpaca Wool, Yarn, Fiber, Fleece & More!”
We breed and sell quality, genetically diverse, Huacaya and Suri alpacas and all things relating to their fibers. AlAnn Ranch has about 80 alpacas at any given time. We have Suris and Huacayas, all ages, and both sexes. We offer breeding and boarding services, ownership and handling seminars, as well as help with crafting to learn "what to do with the fiber". We shear about 350 pounds of alpaca fiber in April every year and 100 pounds of mohair twice a year. We sell fiber, woven rugs, blankets, hats, gloves and sweaters, hides, and rugs - all USA grown and made - many handmade.
Beware bumpy dirt roads. Wouod not recommend going this way unless you have 4 wheel drive. Never made it there as we had to be towed out of the mud but would love to come back again someday with a different vehicle. The locals were all so friendly!
Went for Alpaca weekend. Great fun, very informative. Lots of Alpaca to pet and feed. Four wheel drive vehicle, or high clearance needed to get there. Worth the trip. Call first.
We actually never got there. It’s literally off roading for 5 miles into nothingness. Also, it is by appointment only. Super disappointed.
