“Breakfast in Downtown Asheville”
At Over Easy Café, we take pride in creating breakfast, brunch and lunch dishes made fresh to order. Focusing on supporting local farmers, we use organic ingredients whenever possible. You can taste the difference in our free-range eggs and our antibiotic, organic & hormone-free meats and tempe from Hickory Nut Gap Farms, Sunburst Trout, and Smiling Hara. We have a variety of dishes that will satisfy any food restrictions…such as, Gluten-free, Vegetarian, Vegan and Dairy-free. Our organic fair trade coffee is roasted by Mountain Air Roasters and breads are from Annie’s Bakery and West End Bakery. We also are excited to use biodegradable cleaning supplies from Green Bee, as well as bio-degratable To-Go items. All our food is cooked to order in a small but magical kitchen, so come in, relax and enjoy your day.
They close at 2!! I was so bummed; everyone was raving about it for a great downtown breakfast. "Breakfast," of course, being an important detail. Downtown is less of a lunch spot, apparently, anyway. If you have the choice, head over to West Asheville for lunch. that being said, Asheville has great food and you'll find something delicious around any corner.
