In under a decade Mix Sweet Shop has become a locale for the community to indulge and nourish themselves with artisan pastries and Direct Trade coffee.  With the stylistic airs of a French café and a pinch of small town hospitality, Mix provides a melting pot of creative and high quality products in an environment catered to study or social engagement. A broad selection of delectable desserts for every palate and morning pastries are prepared fresh each day in house. Breakfast favorites include the Caramel Pecan Bun made from croissant dough, a touch of orange zest with a caramel and pecan glaze. For dessert enjoy a Lemon Meringue Tart made with a dessert crust, fresh lemon curd, and topped with a light meringue reminiscent of a toasted marshmallow. Mix makes fresh ice cream from organic Straus Dairy and local ingredients arranged for you in a compostable cup or a hand rolled cone. All pastries are available for special order with a minimum of three days notice.  Baker’s work tirelessly in an open kitchen always primed to answer questions from the many new comers and regulars intrigued by the behind-the-scenes operation of the bakery.  Local, seasonal produce is incorporated into a number of products year round. Mix proudly carries Stumptown coffee offering espresso, French press, drip, pour overs and more prepared by passionate Stumptown trained baristas. Open seven days a week from morning to evening with treats for every occasion.
