Country Lane Discount on Hwy 72 has erected a fiberglass statue of a boy as a promotional gimmick. The statue is 19 ft. tall with coveralls, a big grin, and the best looking shoes you've ever seen! Hes got one hand in his pocket and one carrying a bag labeled ‘Discount Groceries.’’ Nineteen-foot tall giant boy wearing overalls and big shoes advertises discount groceries and flooring.
Outstanding, nice guy, interesting attraction, kinda out of the way, but what do you expect for a 19' kid! Directions were misleading but we ended up enjoying a nice drive along the Elk River until Karen ( our gps) got us to the right location.
