Best Aquarium I have ever seen, by far. We paid extra for the Sea Keepers Tour and it was totally worth it!
Awesome place! I loved every minute of it especially the Whale Sharks :)
Brought two of my daughters individually on different occasions, all the way from Ontario. Great experience.
Totally worth the price
I enjoyed the museum and the the tunnel walk was fantastic, but I dislike with their acquisition of new beluga whales captured in the wild.
This seems incredible. I've been to the Shedd Aquarium but they don't have sleepovers.
Amazing aquarium. I could have spent all day looking at the giant tank and watching the whale sharks.
As far as aquariums go it was very nice. The fact that it is indoors is a HUGE plus! We hit the GA on our summer road trip and it was packed! In all we were there for a few hours and my daughter and wife loved it.
This place speaks to my soul! Can't wait to plan another trip back. This is the best aquarium I have ever seen, and I have seen many! I am a saltwater tank enthusiast and I was amazed at the beauty of this place as well as the history behind how the owner made this happen. Great place and wonderful story!
My boyfriend and I visit an aquarium on every trip we take around the USA, and we have had the Georgia Aquarium on the agenda for years!
The Ocean Voyager exhibit is truly spectacular. We could've sat and stared at the whale sharks and manta rays all day. We were even more excited to hear that you can pay to swim with them in the tank! That is another addition to our bucket list.
Beyond Ocean Voyager, we weren't as impressed with the scale of the aquarium, since it seems like most funds and efforts go into that main exhibit. It's not worse than other aquariums, just different in that they put so much effort into this MASSIVE exhibit, where other aquariums just have a larger variety of species. We also were not too fond of the beluga whale exhibit, it seemed rather small for 4 whales to cohabitate.
