My biggest beefs w/Atlantic Beach is the lack of easy access points that are handicap friendly, and you can't see hardly any of the ocean driving along the main road closest to the beach for miles. That being said, when you get to the beach (not at the main access point downtown) it is really nice. There are lots of good seafood eating places around there, and lots of things to do. I'm torn with liking Atlantic Beach. Aspects are great, and then some are less than desirable. It's not my favorite beach town ever, and I wouldn't go out of my way to make it a priority to return, but someday I may make it back that way.
