Off I-35 in Downtown's east, this classic business hotel is a 9-minute walk from the University of Texas campus and an 11-minute walk from the Texas State Capitol. Last summer my boyfriend and I stayed at the Sheraton in Austin for five days. This hotel has a great location but I had some little problems with the housekeeping. Every morning the housekeeper knocked on our door more than once at 9 to check if the room was empty even after we had asked her not to do that. I think that is a terrible thing for such an overpriced hotel to do. We even had to pay for parking, which was far from cheap. Other than that our room was wonderful with a nice decoration, very clean and cozy and the staff was very welcoming and helpful. All in all, it was a nice experience.
