“Hot-dog shaped diner!”
Coney Island Colorado (commonly The Coney Island) in Bailey, Colorado is a 1950s diner shaped like a giant hot dog, with toppings. The building has been called "the best example of roadside architecture in the state". The diner has indoor seating, courtyard seating and riverside picnic table seating.
This looks cool!

Ok it's not the yummiest thing in the world (Coney Islands are definitely one of those things that just appeal to the folks that grew up with them, like Cincinnati Chilli or Chicago Deep Dish), but it's a truly awesome classic roadside stop in a beautiful part of the world. They don't make places like this any more and we need more of them!
Food is ok prices are ok. A welcome site on a hungry summer day though. I'd stop back just for fun.
