“a classic neighborhood restaurant”
Bluegrass Tavern is a classic neighborhood restaurant in South Baltimore featuring a contemporary American menu and an eclectic wine list and cocktails. From the moment you step through the front door, the woods, rich greens and floor to ceiling windows creates a soothing yet airy feeling. Both floors feature a bar and a dining room. Bluegrass is located at 1500 Hanover Street at the bustling intersection of Hanover and Fort Avenue. From his earliest memories as a child, Chef Timothy R. Dyson recalls a passion for food and service; a passion flamed by his mother who was a restaurant chef and a passion that led him to the Le Cordon Bleu Program at the Pennsylvania Culinary Institute in Pittsburgh. After graduation he headed to Baltimore and has held positions of Sous Chef at Kali?s Court, Chef de Cuisine at the Peabody Court Hotel and Chef Consultant at the new Sobo Café with owner Anna Leventis.
